So great to catch a big star like you hangin' out on Facebook with his friends the other day. It would be so go to see you tour Australia. I think there is a good market here but I guess the tour promoters have a better idea of the financials.

Went to Ronnie Scott's on saturday and you were excellent.
Would have booked to go again but all dates sold out
and you can see why.
The place was jumpin' and that was a fantastic evening.

Hi Ray, I have just become a fan after a friend gave me your Hey There CD for my Birthday. What an absolutely fantastic sound. I live on the Greek Island of Kos and entertain tourists around the Island with a lot of the Rat Pack classics. However listening to you is like giving a breath of fresh air to the music. Kia Ora from New Zealand Ray! As kids we grew up on jazz. Was great! Such memories linger long. Dad had such a passion for music...and like yourself cooking - in chef style no less, only the best utensils would do. I fell for Mr Satchmo (Daniel) Louis Armstrong at age seven when Dad turned up the song "what a wonderful world". Stirs me just the same today. In '66 when our youngest sister was born I clearly recall Dad saying "well, if it's good enough for Frank, it's good enough for me. and he named her Nancy. Recently my lovely daughter Josephine said "hey check this out Mum...who does this man remind you of?" Well Ray Gelato, you sure look like my father did then...right down to that cheeky lift of the eyebrow and familiar twinkle in the eye when he was playing his drums and scanning the room for who was having the best time out there. Thanks for a great night in Hull on the 28th August. I brought my 23 year old daughter with me and she loved it. What a talented band of musicians you all are, and such energy! I was looking forward to this night for ages and it was everything i hoped for.

Just sorry you had a 7 hour journey to get here :( and hope it doesn't put you off coming back again.
